The owner of a successful sitework construction company contacted SMP Architecture to address their growing needs and outdated office building. Beyond mere functional space they wanted an office that the employees enjoyed coming to and that reflected their high quality, but relaxed company atmosphere. SMP Architecture delivered.
Instruct
SMP Architecture did a detailed review of the existing building and quickly determined a new building was the optimal solution to balance their budget with their project goals, as well as keep them fully operational during construction. The new facility was designed to take advantage of a south facing portion of the site near the road providing optimal access and company visibility.
Build
The design maintained a residential scale, detailing, and use of materials to enhance comfort, while the open and flexible work areas optimize communication and functionality. Efficient file storage and a meeting area in the basement, large enough for the entire company, round out this high-quality distinctive company headquarters.
